Country music
superstar, Reba McEntire, stars as Lizzie Brooks, a woman who awakens
from a 20-year coma to a world she doesn't recognize. Her husband Peter (Tim
Matheson) is a stranger, her young daughter Emma has become a beautiful
woman, and her best friend Gail (Bess Armstrong) has become a rival.
In their grief over Lizzie's illness, Peter, Gail and
Emma have formed a special bond, which excludes her. Pain and anger strike
when her daughter consults Gail on her upcoming wedding plans, and the reality
of a lifetime gone by sets in. Distraught and confused, Lizzie realizes
she must rediscover her identity in the world today, not the one she left behind
20 years ago.
